Nice units built up on concrete slabs with the road slanted away from them. Stuff stays dry. Friendly service. The electronic kiosk doesn't always work. Best bet go during normal buisness hours sign up for new unit.
I called to reserve a unit to park a handicap van to transport my mother from a nursing home when my family comes to visit. I live 2 hours away from the location so I specifically told them I needed 8 ft. of clearance to store the van. I was assured they had a unit that would accommodate my needs. Upon arrival they were already closed, and when I found the unit I had rented it had less than 6 feet clearance so I had to drive the van another 2 hours back home. When I called back when they were open I was told I made the reservation through their call center and they don't always have the right information. I explained that I gave my specific requirements before I agreed to rent, but they wouldn't refund my money. Very disappointed they didn't take the opportunity to make things right given the circumstances.
Terrible experience just like some of the other reviews. I vacated the unit on the first of the month and was aware that I would owe one more month (due to their policy). However, when I checked out and informed management my unit was empty "he" stated "he" wouldn't charge me since I was out of the unit when I asked if there was any way it could be waived. Fast forward 8 months and I get a notice from collections that I owed them plus the collections fee on top of that. They never once sent me a bill or informed me of a past due notice and just sent me to collections. Worst experience ever renting a storage unit. You get what you pay for!
Central Self storage has been really good to me for the last 6 years. They have kept my belongings safe while I have been in between housing. They are reasonable rates and I would use them again.
We used this storage unit for 2 months and we came back to have all our stuff moldy, on top of that the staff was horribly rude
